Austin Jutzi
May 16th 2006 to May 30th 2022
Austin was our first “Baby” and he was such a big part of our daily lives. It is so tough to not have him greeting us at the door anymore. Often we hear sounds in the house and expect to see his cute little head pop out with something to show us, its hard to remember he’s not here anymore. It’s tough not having him underfoot anymore, he was out shadow, with us through every step and milestone.
Our sweet little guy had such a close connection to our human babies. Austin loved to be right in there with them playing and running. He let the kids do whatever they pleased with him, whether it was costumes or colouring or extra tight hugs, he loved to soak up all the attention.
As Austin started aging, we could tell that he just wasn’t fully himself anymore. Sometimes he seemed anxious to be alone or wasn’t sure what to do in the evenings. We tried a lot of different approaches and techniques to helping Austin, just as you would want to help any family member. We wanted our little guy to be as comfortable as possible. We are so thankful to have had a few extra months of comfort and snuggles.
While we wish our furry companions could live forever,
we are at peace knowing that Austin left paw prints on our hearts.
