How can you put into words the impact 1 life can have on you? You can't!
But trying to can bring healing in a time of deep grief so here it goes.... Bruin you gave us 15 amazing years! You were with us as we dealt with some of the hardest parts of our life. BIG life changes, tolerated when we brought home a baby (2x) and your spot as "baby of the family" ended. Always there and sure to put a smile on our face even when all we wanted to do was cry. There was never a dull moment for long with you in our home.
We called you the indestructible dog. The things you got into, the things you ate! You survived your ACL tear without surgery and continued to move, climb stairs and jump onto the couch right until your last day! You loved with your whole heart and gave us more than we ever expected or asked for!
As hard as it was to say goodbye, I'm so glad to know you are pain free with Teddy, Chaos & your aunt Ginger! I trust you gave them all the love and kisses from us. Now free to move, run and swim again! I bet you chased balls and chewed bones first! It had been too long since you could do your favorite things.
You will always hold a special place in our hearts, our first baby together. Rest in peace my boy, we will take care of each other now.
Forever missing you!
We were there the day you were born,
We watched you grow with your mom and siblings,
Brought you home to fill a missing place in our home and hearts!
You helped us forget our troubles and look to the future,
You were the typical lab, always on the go and always keeping us on our toes!
When the vet said your life would be short, we focused on quality of life!
But you weren't going to settle, you gave it 15 long years,
You will forever be our first baby together,
Missing you now and always my Bruin
