Bull Krotz
03/05/2009 – 12/14/2021
Bull, Bull Man, Bully, Super Bull, from the moment you were born you stood out from the litter. Being from your mom Gabby’s first litter our family raised, we were intrigued by the litter and your size and the way you would “bulldoze” along while nursing sure caught our eye. You kept to yourself and were always sleeping alone in a different corner than all your other brothers and sisters. You were the independent puppy of the litter. It’s no wonder you were meant to be Nolan’s best friend. Two independent souls who liked to beat to the sound of their own drum. Nolan chose you to be his from the litter without hesitation and from there a lifelong friendship started.
Bull would go everywhere with Nolan and he was always riding shotgun in his truck. With the lift kit, the truck was so high Nolan even had to help support Bull as he jumped up into his seat. They’d drive everywhere together. Two best friends who loved each other like father and son.
Nolan treated Bull like family. Hamburgers, steak, cuddling in his king bed and always making sure he would be well taken care of while he was gone for work. Kyja, your Rottweiler sister, entered into your life in 2015 to give you companionship when Nolan was gone for work. He loved both of you so much and referred to you both as “his kids”.
As Bull got older and his health started to decline Nolan was heartbroken. He truly couldn’t imagine his life without his “best bud” by his side. Nolan said “he’s been with me through even the hardest times”. Little did we know that Nolan would be called to his heavenly home suddenly and unexpectedly in February 2021 as a result of a heart attack at the young age of 37 years.
Bull spent his remaining time with Cheryl and Allan providing comfort after the loss of their son until his purpose was complete and it was his time to reunite and celebrate with Nolan. Knowing Bull and Nolan have been reunited makes our hearts happy.
Although our hearts ache at the loss of Bull and the loss of Nolan, there is peace and comfort knowing instead of this being an unbearable heartbreaking loss for Nolan it actually ended up being a special reunion of two “best buds” just in time for Christmas.
We can only imagine the fun times Nolan and Bull are having riding around together and catching up. We miss you both so very much. Bull will be remembered forever in our hearts.
Bull is Eternally loved and so missed by Kyja, Cheryl and Allan, Jenna and family, Kelby and family and many extended family and friends. Special loving mention of our son Nolan who is now reunited with his “Best Bud” Bull.
