Finnigan Flanagan

2007 - March 1st 2022

Finnigan came into our lives a shy withdrawn pup. He soon learned to trust and find comfort with his humans and fur siblings.

He loved to go for walks and wow he sure loved to run - I’ve never seen a dachshund as fast as Finnigan! Most of all he loved to be close to his humans. We called him our ‘undercover dog’ as Finnigan loved to sleep under the blankets, of course keeping in constant contact with us. Another thing that Finnigan loved was investigating what we were eating for supper. Did you say pizza? The smell of pizza had Finnigan barking for a taste or two.

While age robbed Finnigan of his sight and his hearing, but that nose never failed him. It was amazing to watch him navigate to find the warmth and comfort of one of us. The trust he had in us to always guide him and keep him safe.

Finnigan was such a huge love bug. He was my best friend; my little bit of warmth when it felt cold and my comfort when I felt uneasy. Finnigan brought me peace and quiet when things were a little too loud. He always knew just what to do.
