Jaffe Freiberg

May 15th, 2011 - December 8th, 2023

Our old boy Jaffe came to us a retired service dog. He was a seeing eye dog to a colleague of mine and therefore I knew Jaffe for nine years prior to him joining our family.

During his time with Chris (his previous owner) they enjoyed many adventures together. An avid Blue Jays fan, Jaffe helped Chris travel to several dozen baseball games in Toronto as well as traveling back and forth to Ottawa where his future wife attended law school. Jaffe once even came face to face with a live pig and also survived a dog attack. Jaffe seamlessly saw Chris’ world expand to include a wife and then two beautiful baby girls. He and Chris even travelled to England, not once, but twice.

Although Jaffe was part of my family for only a short eighteen months, we’ll always remember this lovely and giving boy for his gentle and easy-going nature.

Not only will Jaffe be missed by my family, but by Chris & his family and all of the various staff who got to know and adore him over the years.
