Lucy Adams
March 25th 2011 - February 27th 2026
Just a month shy of her 15th birthday, we had to let our sweet old Lucy go to the sky of diamonds 💔
A Lucy shaped hole is left in all of our hearts.
She was truly the sweetest, well behaved, gentlest, weirdest breed of dog I’ve ever met.
Lucy was 7 when I forced myself and Boston into her life. At first she was angry and didn’t want to share her favourite person, Dakota. But in time, she slowly started jumping into bed with me in the morning when he’d leave for work. And her dog brother Boston started to creep his way into her heart by constantly smothering her with cuddles and never allowing her any personal space. It seemed to work because I cant think of Boston without Lucy now, they became best friends and inseparable.
He laid with her until the very end today.
I’ve spent majority of my adult years with her by my side, watching me grow my babies, she patiently waited for me to bring each one home from the hospital and spent the last 4 1/2 years glued to their sides. Even with 2 kids and 2 dogs in the house still, it feels so empty without her.
She is a true testament to the fierce loyalty a dog can have. If her love for us and our love for her was enough to keep her alive, she’d have lived 100 more years.
We’ll always miss you Lucy Bear
