Raven Dent-Steininger

March 9, 2007 - January 6, 2022

Raven was a very big dog in a tiny body. She bossed around her younger brothers who were both much bigger than her yet they never doubted her place as top in the house. But then she was the most kind to the human baby in the house and always dancing around him and showering him with kisses.

Raven’s most favourite human was Brittany, who had given her the best name. Raven for her beautiful shiny black coat and like the bird, a quick, smart brain. Raven saw every detail and never missed a chance to snack when humans left some food unattended, even for just a second.

Raven had incredible speed and agility so she was always ready for any adventure such as hiking, kayaking and camping; she did it all. But she also never missed a sunbeam on the floor or on the back of the couch as she loved to lounge in the heat. Her little body curled up in bed, under the covers, which at first seemed foreign will now be greatly missed. Now she can lay in the grass on a hot sunny day every single day until we see her again.
