Sasha Love Bear
2012 - December 31st 2025Forever my sweet angel 🌈 🐾
On December 31, 2025, I said my final goodbye to my Sasha Love Bear.
Before Sasha was part of our family, her life looked very different. She was a breeding dog, living outside on hay — her world small, her comfort limited. And yet, despite that beginning, she carried no bitterness. Only love. When she came into our home, she stepped into it with a heart wide open, as if she had been saving all that affection just for us.
For seven beautiful years, Sasha and I were best friends. From the very beginning, her whole personality was pure joy and unconditional love. She adored people. She adored life. She greeted every single day — and every single person — with the biggest smile and a heart wide open.
Sasha wasn’t just a dog… she was a nurturer. She mothered everyone. She raised Panda and Pumpkin from when they were only weeks old, watching over them as if they were her own. Any dog that entered our home was welcomed into her circle of care. And over the past two years, she made sure Honey felt safe, protected, and truly at home. I truly believe a little piece of Sasha now lives inside Honey — her gentleness, her warmth, her steady love.
Everywhere we went felt like an adventure together. Car rides were pure magic in her eyes — windows down, ears flapping, the world rushing by. But her absolute favourite place was sunset swims at Shakespeare Pond. The water, the sky turning gold, the quiet — that was her happy place. And mine too, because she was there.
While she loved adventure, her true favourite pastime was food… honestly, any food. And she deserved every single bite. An absolute princess through and through. Grandma Deb made sure she never missed out on a treat or a taste — because everyone knew Sasha’s love language was snacks.
Her life is proof that beginnings do not define endings. She went from sleeping on hay to being wrapped in blankets, from surviving to being adored. She knew safety. She knew family. She knew joy.
Her heart was giant. Her smile was unforgettable.
The space she leaves behind is enormous, but so is the love she gave us.
Thank you, Sasha, for every tail wag, every cuddle, every sunset, every joyful greeting at the door. Thank you for trusting us with your life and showing us how resilient love can be.
💜
See you at the Rainbow Bridge, my sweet, sweet angel. 🐾 🌈 Until we meet again.
