Tara Lush

May 11th, 2007 - February 12th, 2024

I fostered Tara as a Senior, her owner had passed away and she wouldn’t have done well in a shelter. She was my first Foster fail. Over the next couple years she became such a huge part of our family, for an old girl she was still so full of life. She loved soaking up the sun and really disliked car rides. It was hard to see her slow down, which is normal with age but still hard. It was even harder to accept that she was telling me she was ready to be free. For so many years I thought I was the one who rescued her but it’s very clear that she was the one who rescued me.

Tara is eternally loved and missed by Bernadette & Marlee

and their many friends, family and neighbours who were apart of Tara’s life too.
