Tucker Fink
July 2nd 2008 - August 22nd 2022
We brought Tucker home August 2008. He came from a lovely family in Kippen Ontario. He was the best kijiji purchase we will ever make in our lives.
Tucker was attached at the hip from the very beginning. A lover of balls, running on trails, ducks, swimming at the beach, in lakes, or in his pool, and of course loved his Mom and Dad. His best friend was his cat brother Harley who cleaned his face every single day of his life and wrestled with every night. Harley would always win!Tuck loved his walks but hated bikes or anything with wheels. He loved gardening with his Momma and was a great toadie finder. He especially loved car rides.
Tucker was a fragile baby though and went through 2 TPLO surgeries in his life. The last when he was nearly 12. He sailed through each one. Determined to keep going and live his best life, Tuck was with us and there for us through every single good day and comforted us every bad day for 14 solid years.
Tucker was a loyal friend who only wanted to be with his people and he made it his mission to ensure we were always "okay." Our friends and family always commented that he seemed to never age. Tuck was a puppy in his looks right up until the end. We loved our boy like no other. Our Tuckie.
Our house is quieter but our memories of him are strong. We talk about him every single day. We will forever be thankful to Dr.Erica, Laura and Adrienne for allowing us the most perfect goodbye with our boy.
We let Tuck go at home with his people holding him right until the end. He left us knowing that we did absolutely everything we could for him throughout his entire life and also in his death. He was so loved. He was safe and he left us so peacefully.
Tucker is Eternally Loved and Missed by:
Leah, Eric & Harley and their many friends, relatives and neighbours
