Calli Robinson
Oct 3rd, 2011 – April 17th, 2026Calli was our first dog; a part of us from the very beginning, back when we still lived in mom’s basement and the only markings on her face were two brown eyebrows. She did life with us, moving into our first home and patiently standing by as we became parents, becoming a big sister herself. I didn’t realize at the time how much she was shaping those years with us, becoming a part of who we are today. We’ll fondly remember the way she’d sit like a human, and the way she’d give the ball a couple extra chomps before finally giving it up for another throw… if she hadn’t already lost it on her way to lie in the creek.
Our sweet Calli girl had an intimidating greeting, but she was the biggest suck.
All 80 pounds of her would come barreling toward you, accompanied by several deep barks. She’d jump up to give you a little bop in the face, and once the hellos were out of the way, she probably didn’t care much about you. She wasn’t one to be fussed over unless food was involved, but she was part of almost any adventure we could include her in.
It brings peace to our hearts knowing that her best buds, Kobe and Bean, met her on the rainbow bridge, probably doing what they love most: swimming on sunny days, playing catch at the park, or more likely, getting into some good roughhouse play.
Forever holding a spot in our hearts, our sweet Calli girl, who moved like a lioness and took up most of the bed.
Rest easy, sweet girl. We love you.
