From the minute I saw the goofy picture of you waiting for a treat with your then house sisters, Bella and Koda, I knew I HAD to meet you.
When I finally did meet you, you were even better than I had dreamt.
Initially coming for weekend stays, it was harder and harder to take you back. Then the most wonderful thing happened, I was asked to take you full time!
My heart exploded. Never thinking I’d have another Dane, the universe saw fit to put us together.
For two and a half years of play dates, car rides and a summers in PEI sitting in your favorite chair at the cottage, demanding everyone who visits sit with you, you always had your favorite blanket close by.
Cancer certainly does suck and just as you being you, stoic to the end, surrounded by love and your favorite people, you’ll leave a hole in many hearts.
Forever in our hearts 💕
