To my Sweet Boy Cohen,

It was a blessing to find Dr. Erica for Cohen so that he could pass peacefully at home in my arms. It was so important to me. How do you say goodbye to your fur baby who has been with you for over 16 years and has loved you unconditionally? Cohen was my partner, my companion, and always by my side. I’ve always been an animal lover and surrounded by animals of all kinds growing up on a farm. I never truly understood the connection that someone can have with a pet until Cohen joined me. Having your furry friend with you in your home brings you so much closer together. He somehow always knew just when I needed him, and I hope I was there for him when he needed me too.

I miss coming home to you, your snuggles and our walks. Our home is empty and quiet without you! I will miss the sound of his little footsteps, his snuggles in the blankets and all the funny ways he made me laugh. Run free little man, you will forever be a part of me and live on in my heart.
