We rescued you
but you rescued us
you taught us to love
without conditions
heal from hurt
forgive and forget
and how to love and be loved

Your sweet soul
will never be forgotten
we’ll see you everywhere
prancing and racing in the door
we’ll hear your bark 
alerting us, protecting us
we’ll see your beautiful brown eyes
and be filled with gratitude that 
you came into our lives
and fought to stay as long as you could

Rest your tired heart my love
but look back for us
we are forever there, watching for you 
till we are together again

Grace will be forever missed by Jayne and her family, friends and neighbours
