Melody Dussiaume - Good

February 14, 2007- April 5, 2022

To Our Mellie,

Melody was my best-friend, she was my child before I had one. I got Melody when she was around 4 years old. She came into my life unexpectedly and was a blessing. When she was younger, I used to take her everywhere with me! I used to call her a purse dog because she had a little doggy bag and anytime it was on the floor, she would jump in it hoping we would be going on an adventure. She would follow me everywhere when she wasn’t in her carrier bag. She never needed a leash, she always needed to be close to me and that was perfect for her. She was my best-friend, my partner in adventure, my shoulder to cry on, my therapist, my heating pad, and my pet for 12 beautiful years.

Melody met loads of people and animals throughout her life with me and touched many hearts. When Melody was 10, I met my now husband and we became a family. We soon added another dog- Snow- and our son, Noah. Both of whom, miss her terribly! It is not the same without her. The house is simply too quiet. I wish you could have lived forever- if love was enough, you’d still be here. We miss you baby girl. Melody has changed our life and she is missed today and always. I am forever grateful for the time we got to spend together. Until we meet again, we have those memories. We love you always, Melody.

Love, the Goods- Mommy, Daddy, Noah, and Snow
