Molly Cove

“I loved you your whole life and I’ll miss you for the rest of mine”
Molly was the sweetest, goofiest, most loving and gentle dog. Her soul was pure gold. She was always happy unless she was missing one of her “things” (walk, food, treat or cuddle) and she would stare at us with a grump face until we figured it out, and then she quickly went back to being happy again. She was happiest when both her people were sitting down together in the same room. She would often herd one of us to join the other one in the living room so we could all be together.
Molly loved the snow and the cold, being outside, wading in the lake at camp, digging holes in the sand, playing tug of war, dancing in the kitchen with Mama, accompanying Dad while he fed the birds or barbecued, peanut butter kongs and steak. Molly loved her walks and would get so excited that she would sing, howl, woof and run back and forth and in circles until we got the leash on her and went outside. She did this every time. She loved all dogs and would bounce up to every dog she saw on our walks wanting to play. She was friendly with all animals and creatures. We saw her hop alongside a bunny and try to be friends with a mouse in the backyard.
Molly liked being sneaky and funny. She would constantly make a game of hiding on us in the backyard and at camp. She would steal the firewood from camp when she thought we weren’t looking. She liked to dig the sand out from under someone’s chair on the beach until they fell over. She made us laugh multiple times every single day.
Molly lit up our lives with so much love, joy and laughter. She was our everything. She truly was the love of our lives.
She was loved beyond measure, and she will continue to be loved and missed for the rest of our lives.
Forever loved, forever missed. xoxo
