Molson Longpre

August 2007 - March 4th 2026

Molson was an unexpected addition to our home when my husband’s boss arrived at the office with three kittens in a cardboard box. Two already had a home and the one left decided my husband would be his human.

He was the sweetest little kitten who looked electrified and always had a lot to say.

Molson had a mischievous streak and wasn’t afraid to give you the business when he felt you deserved it. He was often on tables, under the Christmas tree unwrapping gifts or behind the television. As he got older he loved sitting outside in the sun with us on our deck to watch the birds and squirrels.

Very little changed when our first daughter was born. He accepted her as part of the family but he still much preferred my husband.

He had slowed down considerably when our youngest was born but was still adamant that he was the most important in the house. We often joked he was more like a dog than a cat because he would lay in the middle of the floor amongst everyone. If he wasn’t with us, he was on my daughter’s bed hidden amongst her stuffed animals.

We were so lucky to have him for almost 19 years.

His presence is missed in our home, but he’ll live in our hearts forever.

Molson is deeply loved and missed by Kristen, Kevin, Jordan & Finley
