Piper Siegner
November 22, 2008 - November 10, 2022
Our sweet Piper crossed the rainbow bridge. I have been trying to find the right words for this post and simply cannot come up with anything that will not take 3 days to complete. Piper was our stubborn protector and would have defended any one of us if needed.
Freya, Ken and Spencer will miss their horse and Piper’s kisses.
Jake will miss coming through our door to tell Piper to move it....
Aliesha will miss telling Piper how much she loves her 'outfit' and how pretty she is.
Nicole will miss Piper’s snuggles and kisses.
Liam will miss his visits with Piper when he comes home.
Carter is going to miss his best friend, Piper knew all of his secrets, she was there for all of his firsts since he was 9 years old and has been there for all of the heart break Carter has already experienced. I have never once seen Carter leave the house or come home without first speaking to his 'girls'.
Jeremy is going to miss having his 'girl' with him and enjoy all the fun adventures they went on (hiking, biking, swimming, camping). Piper was his sidekick for sure.
I am going to miss all of these things … and so much more that I am unable to even put into words.
I need to thank the lovely ladies at Black Creek Vet Mobile Services for their immediate response to me in our time of need, they had so much compassion for our family and showed Piper so much love and comfort in her final moments. I cannot say enough about how wonderful they were. They said something to us while we were talking that has stuck with me and truly brings to light the special bond we all had with Piper.
Because her momma Quila was our girl as well we saw Piper take her very first breath and Carter, Jeremy and I held her while she took her last. She left this world knowing how very loved she was and has crossed over the rainbow bridge to find her Momma and the nine siblings she had that all past before her.
RIP Sweet girl - You Left Paw Prints on our Hearts forever
