Forever Loved, Never Forgotten

Minnie Lacasse aka Minnie Moo, Miss Minnie, Moo Moo

2006 - December 2nd, 2024

We rescued you from a dumpster, looking back it’s hard to imagine because once you were with us it didn’t take long for you to become a princess.  You had 2 big sisters, at the time, Mascka and Cloudy. A few years later Mascka went to cat heaven and then many years later Cloudy got sick and she went to cat heaven. You were lost and didn’t like being the only child, so we adopted Pepper, your annoying little sister. She grew up to be three times your size. Somedays you loved her, and other days barely tolerated her, but you always made sure she understood the pecking order and that you were in charge.

I will never forget the night we brought you home, you were so tiny, so dirty and so fragile. I gave you a bath and you just soaked in the warm water and snuggled up in the fluffy towel after and enjoyed the warmth and the snuggles. I remember having to rub a tiny bit of soft food on your nose to get you to eat. We took you to the vet and you had ear mites, intestinal worms and fleas. We got you all fixed up and brought you to good health and none of us ever looked back. Especially you, you always knew you were destined to be a princess not a dumpster kitty.

You lived 18 years with us and even though you were getting old you always looked like a kitten. You can now run free and not be in pain. I hope you, Mascka and Cloudy are back together and having fun.

This, our first Christmas without you, is especially difficult. Christmas was your favorite time of the year. You were always so happy when we brought the tree into the house, and you couldn’t wait for us to set it up so you could lie under it and rub your face on the branches. I always had to strategically place the gifts and be sure I left enough room for you to snuggle up and nap.

Pepper misses you terribly, we all do. It’s impossible for us to forget you after all, you gave us so many good memories.

We love you and miss you, Mike, Judy, Kristine, Julia, Violet, Elora, Leighton and Tucker

A very heart felt Thank you to Dr. Erica and Katie. Your kindness and compassion will never be forgotten.
